Flawless working and embedding knowledge in the workplace

In production environments, digital work instructions help to prevent errors, secure knowledge and get new people up to speed faster

Anchor crucial knowledge and avoid mistakes, without endless briefings.

In production environments where shifts change, tasks become more complex, and experienced employees gradually leave, it is becoming increasingly important to anchor crucial knowledge. Digital work instructions help you do this: they make processes more consistent, safer, and error-free, and ensure that new employees get up to speed more quickly.

During this one-day masterclass, you will discover how to use digital instructions to:

  • retain knowledge on the work floor,
  • avoid mistakes,
  • and enable your team to work more independently and efficiently.

You will get hands-on experience with tools such as AR, CAD, and remote support, and learn how to create instructions that really work on your shop floor.

Result: fewer errors, faster training, more continuity.

For whom?

This training is aimed at employees in production environments who have to deal with executive tasks on a daily basis, such as:

  • Operators in montage of assemblage
  • Team leaders or shop floor coordinators
  • Technical services and maintenance teams
  • Instructors or training managers
  • Particularly valuable if you are involved in:
  • Complex operations where order is crucial
  • Tasks with setting parameters or specific safety regulations
  • Lots of product variety or frequent changeovers
  • Temporary workers or rotating staffing
  • Onboarding new employees
  • Maintenance or assembly work on site

Key insights

Why investing in digital work instructions pays off:

  • Retain knowledge in the workplace. Prevent essential knowledge from disappearing when experienced colleagues leave.
  • Fewer errors, more continuity. Clear, digital step-by-step plans help operators work correctly and independently, even with complex or rarely performed tasks.
  • Faster and safer onboarding. New employees understand more quickly what is expected of them.
  • Always have the right information at hand. Via smartphone, tablet, smart glasses or projection system – wherever and whenever needed.
  • Adjust with data. Digital instructions provide insight into work processes and training needs.

09:30-12:00You will gain a solid foundation in drawing up clear and useful work instructions:
    •    How do you create effective and user-friendly instructions?
    •    What are their advantages and what should you definitely pay attention to?
    •    Why work instructions alone are not enough and how training reinforces them.
We will conclude the morning with an interactive exercise: you will get to work drawing up work instructions yourself, so that you can immediately put the theory into practice.

12:00-13:00Lunch
13:00-17:00We will delve into the possibilities of digital work instructions and show how these new technologies can strengthen your production process:
    •    Integration possibilities with other systems (such as ERP)
    •    Applications of instructions via projection
    •    How AI support tools can speed up the drafting of instructions
    •    The use of CAD in the development of visual and digital work instructions
We will end the day with a practical demonstration, during which you will experience for yourself how remote support works and how you can use CAD to develop digital work instructions.
