Work experience
Before joining Sirris, I worked as a graduate researcher in astronomy, focusing on simulating and analysing large datasets to detect Earth-sized exoplanets and identify variable objects through time series analysis. After completing my PhD and moving to Belgium, I became a computer vision scientist, specialising in real-time detection of smoke and flames in video streams.
