Thomas Coppée

Project Ingenieur

At Sirris, I work on projects at the intersection of mechatronics, electronics and magnetism. My work combines applied engineering with advanced research in nanomagnetism, helping to bridge fundamental science and industrial innovation. I contribute to the development of innovative technologies by applying expertise in electronics, signal processing and magnetic systems. My goal is to turn complex physical phenomena into practical engineering solutions.

Are you working on a challenge involving electronics, signal processing or advanced magnetic technologies? I would be happy to discuss how we can move your project forward.

Expertise

  • Analog and digital electronics
  • Spintronics and magnetic dynamics
  • Signal processing

Work experience

Alongside my work at Sirris, I am pursuing a PhD at UCLouvain, focusing on the magnetic dynamics of spin-torque vortex oscillators for neuromorphic spintronic architectures. Before joining Sirris, I worked as a System Designer at Alstom, where I gained experience in complex engineering systems and multidisciplinary problem solving.

Studies

  • Master’s degree in Civil Electrical Engineering – Université Catholique de Louvain (2024)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering – Université Catholique de Louvain (2022)

Professional motto

"Curiosity is the bridge between understanding and innovation."

Fun fact

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors and staying active through sports such as tennis, running and hiking.
