Cyberbeveiliging in de industrie: hoe reageert u effectief op de NIS2-richtlijn?
Seminar

How can Industry 4.0 and cyber resilience go hand in hand?

Secure your production line in line with NIS2 and CRA requirements. Watch live IT/OT attack demonstrations to put theory into practice.

Strengthen the cyber resilience of your production

As Industry 4.0 connects more machines and production systems, operational technology (OT) is becoming increasingly exposed to cyber threats. At the same time, NIS2 and the Cyber Resilience Act are raising cybersecurity requirements for manufacturers.

This event helps you understand what these changes mean for your organisation. Through expert insights and live demonstrations, you will discover practical ways to strengthen OT security, protect business continuity and reduce cyber risks without compromising productivity.

For whom?

  • Plant managers (with digital awareness) and Chief Operating Officers (COOs)
  • Chief Technology Officers (CTOs)
  • IT managers (CIOs, CISOs)
  • Automation engineers and OT network architects
  • Industry: Manufacturing and industrial companies

Key takeaways

  • Assess the concrete impact of NIS2 and the CRA on your operations and supply chain.
  • Anticipate the actions required, even if your company is not directly subject to the NIS2 Directive.
  • Apply the principles of the IEC 62443 standard to effectively segment your IT and OT networks.
  • Visualize the mechanisms of an industrial cyberattack and master the immediate remediation actions.

Speakers

08:30–09:00Welcome coffee and informal networking.
09:00–10:00State of the threat landscape in the manufacturing sector and best practices for cyber resilience.
With attacks increasingly targeting OT vulnerabilities and the legal framework continuing to evolve, this session provides an overview of the current threat landscape. It will guide you in assessing your situation and implementing best practices, even if you are not directly subject to new obligations such as NIS2.
Thierry Coutelier - Sirris
10:00–11:00Improve the resilience of your industrial facilities by taking a risk-based approach and following the IEC 62443 standard
Find out how to focus your cybersecurity efforts where they create the most value, using a risk-based approach structured in line with the IEC 62443 standard. The presentation will also demonstrate how applying this standard facilitates monitoring by intelligent agents, analysis, compliance and continuous improvement.
Nicolas Point - Multitel
11:00–11:15Coffee break
11:15–12:15Production and cybersecurity: OT segmentation and hardening the security of OT equipment using AI agents.
Protecting the OT requires a robust network architecture and appropriate procedures. Discover a practical approach to designing ‘secure-by-design’ industrial systems, implemented in a real-world industrial case study using AI agents. These agents enable the creation of an architecture that is properly segmented in accordance with the IEC 62443 standard, allow the system’s resilience to risks to be tested through attack scenarios, and guide the implementation of hardened configurations.
Christophe Ponsard - CETIC
12:15–12:45Additional demonstrations - questions/answers
12:45Walking Lunch

This event forms part of the CyberGalaxia project, a Wallonia ERDF 2021–2027 project bringing together Sirris, Multitel, CETIC, UCLouvain and ULiège. CyberGalaxia aims to strengthen the cyber-resilience of industrial and critical infrastructure in Wallonia by developing innovative solutions and an environment in which to test and deploy them under real-world conditions. The demonstrations of IT/OT attacks and the network segmentation approach based on the IEC 62443 standard, which will be presented to you during this morning’s session, stem directly from the work carried out as part of this project.
