Data science is about making sense of complex, heterogeneous datasets and uncovering hidden patterns. A sharp, inquisitive mindset combined with strong expertise in advanced analytical tools is essential, and something I continuously strive for in my role as Senior Data Scientist and Project Lead within the Data & AI team.
I work on cross-domain projects, ranging from industrial product and process monitoring to intelligent transportation systems. My focus includes estimation, prediction and forecasting, context-based anomaly detection, and the integration of heterogeneous datasets. Since 2023, I have also been leading the Computer Vision initiatives within our team.

Work experience
I studied Biology and did a PhD and a post-doc in cognitive neuroscience, before quitting academia and going to the private sector. There I worked as a data scientist first in a large mobile gaming company and then as a consultant in data & analytics. I joined Sirris in 2018, where I found my sweet spot between academia and the private sector.
